The USCG Master's license represents the highest level of maritime certification, empowering you to operate inspected vessels carrying seven or more passengers, as well as uninspected vessels up to six paying passengers.
As a licensed Master, you can captain various inspected vessels, including ferry boats, harbor tour boats, sailing schooners, dive boats, and whale-watching boats, all capable of carrying more than six paying passengers.
To qualify for a 25/50/100 Ton Master's captain's license, you must meet several key requirements. All candidates must be at least 19 years old, hold U.S. citizenship, and obtain a TWIC card, among other qualifications.
